Concertino
For piano and orchestra
Year of Composition : 1932, Ankara.
Movements : Moderato, Andante, Allegro Vivo.
First Performance : The first rendition of the "Concertino" was without orchestra accompaniment and on two pianos, by the composer and his spouse, pianist Ferhunde Erkin, in the third concert organized by the Arts Council of the Public Cultural Centre. (Ferhunde Erkin, solo piano; Ulvi Cemal Erkin, accompanying party). The first performance with orchestra: Presidential Philharmonic Orchestra, Soloist: Ferhunde Erkin, Conductor: Ulvi Cemal Erkin, May 11, 1934.

Dedication : The work was dedicated to Vedat Nedim Tör, with the inscription: "To Dr. Vedat Nedim Tör, whose interest in art has made a great contribution to the composition of these pages (October 28, 1942)."
Note : The work has frequently been used as ballet music.
